Our goal at RR Velo is to make carbon fiber bicycle frames that rival the world’s very best manufactures. Some of our frames are unique in their construction and appearance. No other carbon fiber manufacture can offer what RR Velo does in terms of beauty and dependability.
RR Velo has mastered the art of carbon construction. For over 14 years our carbon craftsmen have been manufacturing and repairing carbon fiber bicycles for other brands. Now we offer them to you under our own label. Our construction process produces a frame that is one of the most durable composite frames money can buy. We specialize in lug less, seamless frames that are breathtakingly beautiful, yet extremely strong. Our tube to tube construction process is regarded as the best and most labor intensive way to make a full carbon bike.
We start by selecting only the top of the line tubes, chain and seat stays. We then painstakingly miter the tubes and epoxy them into place. Next we carefully hand wrap each joint tightly with carbon fiber roving. After the frame is baked, it is expertly sanded and filed revealing either a smooth joint or what looks like ornate lug work. The frames are then finished with the paint and graphics.
RR Velo is a cutting edge manufacture and we offer either custom or standard geometry. This includes mixing tub sets for the optimal riding experience. We can mix and match tub sets for all types of riders and roads. It doesn’t matter whether you want a stiff or soft ride. Or if you are a light or heavy ride. It doesn’t matter if you are a road racer or tourist. We offer geometry that will produce a bike that works just for you. We offer integrated seat posts, internal cable routing and even offer the new 30mm bottom brackets.
RR Velo’s final product is a frame that depending on size and tubes runs in the low two pound range painted. We are so confident of the durability of our bikes that each one comes with a 25 year warranty.
